I am a Registered Dental Hygienist practicing full-time in the Niagara Region. A graduate of George Brown College in Toronto (1990),  I have over 30 years of dental experience and a passion for IPAC.

Following the Covid-19 pandemic shut down in early 2020, I upgraded my Dental IPAC knowledge base through an online course offered by the dental program at Fanshawe College in London, ON. With what I learned in the program I was able to make necessary changes in my place of employment (an orthodontic office) and re-write our office IPAC Policies and Procedures Manual to bring it up to PHO standards.
In conversations with Niagara Region Public Health inspectors I learned that the most common reason for a PHO Dental Office Audit failure is inadequate written IPAC policies and procedures.
